Trent Class - Leavers 2020
You are all part of a very special Year Six group, one that has never experienced a final year in primary school as you have. I am very proud of the way you have responded to the national situation caused by Coronavirus and how this has affected you all personally. You have had to face disappointments and disruption to the end of your primary education and endure being separated from your friends. However, you have faced all of this with courage and fortitude: you have completed online learning and shown how independent you are; you have respected and followed the advice given by the government and shown how mature you have become and you have supported your friends by keeping in touch on social media. Coping so well with all of the challenges you have had to face, that no other Year six team have had to experience, can only have given you a skill set that will stay with you and help you to fulfil your dreams. I sincerely wish you all the very best for your future - a future that is full of promise and success.
Good luck everyone - always remember how special you are!
With love and best wishes to you all.

Oh The Places You'll Go! by Dr Seuss
This is a wonderful story about moving on that I planned to read to you on your last day before our Leaving Assembly. I could have recorded myself doing this, but I have chosen to allow the inspiring Michelle Obama to read it to you in light of the current global events. I hope the story inspires you and fills you with confidence for your future. There are some activities to do so you get the most out of the book, if you choose to.
A message from the Prime Minister:
On Friday 10 July at 10am, the Prime Minister will be giving an address to all school leavers which will be broadcast on Facebook and YouTube.
A final bit of fun - we hope these clips make you smile!
Have a great summer everyone!
