Nature watch by Elizabeth

Elizabeth has been out and about Carlton with her family noting all things natural, specifically the wildlife and the new life that has begun to emerge.

Here she has watched the signets hatch on Carlton Ponds and being looked after by their parents. She has also seen them take to the water as they learned to swim and begin the first steps of looking after themselves. Can you spot the picture of the damsel fly in the photo below?
